Staying Over at Grandma and PawPaw's All Night

"GUESS WHO"

spent the night with Grandma and PawPaw (and Auntie Kim) for the first time last Friday night. As promised, we went out to eat at Stevi B's (Aunt Theresa and Granny met us there) and then to Walmart to buy a "Magic Seahorse". We had a great time but unfortunately Grandma came down with the flu and Auntie Kim had to take Blair to her house early Saturday morning so Grandma could go to the doctor. Maybe the next spend the night party will be better.

Such a precious sight. There is nothing more sweeter than a baby sleeping.

Blair started off between Grandma and Auntie Kim in the big bed but ended up in her pack and play and loved it. Of course, she had her "Magic Seahorse" right beside her to keep her company.

Blair's 1st Camping Trip to Stone Mountain with Grandma and PawPaw

On August 21st, Blair went on her first camping trip with Grandma, PawPaw, Mommy and Auntie Kim. We went camping in tents at Stone Mountain Park Campground. We had a great time and Blair slept with her mommy and Auntie Kim in their tent. We roasted marshmallows over the campfire and made smores. This was the view from our campsite.

Blair loved laying out in the open, looking up at the trees. Maybe she will love the outdoors as much as Grandma does. Blair and Mommy enjoying a moment together.

On Saturday, we met Aunt Jane, Aunt Faye, Theresa, Jennifer, Josh, Brooklyn, Noah, Aiden, Scott, Kaitlin and Ryan at the picnic area and we had a small family reunion with LOTS of food. After eating, we all went to the Laser Beam show and Auntie Kim and Cassandra met us there.

We never knew how much we had to take with us when taking a baby, but we sure found out. PawPaw carried the chairs and coolers while Grandma took care of the stroller and diaper bag. The girls at the Laser Beam show. We had a really fun day at Stone Mountain and a fun weekend camping out at the campground. Hopefully, we will enjoy many more campouts to come.

Blair's 1st Visit to Grandma's

Blair finally made her first visit to Grandma and PawPaw's house. We were so excited to see her and hold her. We showed her the nursery that we have been decorating and stocking since January. We introduced her to her crib. She loved laying there listening to the mobile. We also had to try out the changing table. For some reason, we ended up changing her diaper 4 times.

Granny Elsie came to visit and hold her. She was probably thinking that Grandaddy Gene would not like seeing her sport her Georgia outfit.

Kelli commented that she wouldn't like getting her diaper changed but she just laid there so peacefully, looking around.

We look forward to many more visits from Baby Blair. We have so many things to do, so many places to go and so many memories to make.

Blair has so many outfits that she may never be able to wear them all. She is already sporting around in them and looking "mighty spiffy".

Blair made her way home on Friday, July 31st. She enjoyed meeting her family and friends and everyone checked out her tiny fingers and toes. She is already loved so much and expected to be spoiled, especially from her many grandparents. She has more that she has yet to meet.
